Likhweti knows how to recycle. Two of our learners won prizes in a recycling competition. First prize went to the boy in the picture with a watering jug; he used an old milk bottle as material. Another boy wins with his boat that can actually float in water.
One of our big projects of 2009 was to use recycled material to make tables, pigy banks and fruit bowls. This project was such a big sucess that a local media station filmed the entire recycling process and DVD's can be ordered from Likhweti principal Santie Barrish.
